Kinder Joy, Kinder Bueno, and other Kinder Branded and Ferrero products sold by Ferrero USA in the U.S are not affected by this recall.
Ferrero is cooperating with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on reported cases of Salmonella in Europe. There are no confirmed cases in the U.S. to date and no other Kinder or Ferrero Products are affected by this recall.
As a precaution, Ferrero is voluntarily recalling two products in the U.S.:
1) Kinder® Happy Moments Chocolate Assortment distributed in BJ’s Wholesale Club stores and select Costco locations in the Bay Area of California and Northern Nevada.
2) Kinder® Mix Chocolate Treats Confections Assortment Basket distributed in 14 Big Y Supermarket locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts, where this product has already been removed from store shelves.
We are working with the three retailers to remove the products so they are no longer available for purchase. Consumers who have purchased the recalled product should not eat the product and should contact the Ferrero customer service line at 1-800-688-3552 or via https://www.ferreronorthamerica.com/contact-US-residents for a product replacement.

Ferrero U.S.A. takes this opportunity to alert consumers that there may be Kinder branded products currently for sale in the U.S. that are intended for foreign markets and not authorized for sale in the U.S. Kinder branded products authorized for distribution in the U.S. include the following description printed directly on the back of the product packaging:

If you have any other Kinder products that do not include this information, the product is not distributed by Ferrero U.S.A. and is not authorized for distribution or sale in the U.S. market. Please dispose of it immediately, because the product could be included as part of a recall of certain Kinder products that are made in Belgium.
Consumers who have purchased the products mentioned above should not eat the product and may contact the Ferrero customer service line.
