Ferrero is one of the largest consumers of milk in Europe. This is due to the fact that milk is critical to ensuring the quality and unique flavor of our products.
We specifically use powdered milk in our recipe for KINDER JOY™. Powdered milk is produced from fresh milk. The process occurs in two phases. In the first phase, the fresh milk is concentrated by removing the water content which is at approximately 87%, but the result is still liquid. Then, in the second phase, the milk concentrate is put into contact with very high temperature air which causes the water content to evaporate completely, creating powdered milk.
