Honey

Honey is a natural food that we humans have been eating for thousands of years.

Honey is produced by bees from the nectar of flowers and other sugary substances found on plants. Production occurs principally during the spring and summer flowerings and the precious honey is stored in beehives as a food reserve for the winter. Honey can be considered monofloral when it is sourced from a single type of flower or polyfloral when produced from the nectar of many botanical species.

Kinder selection and quality control

The polyfloral honey that Kinder selects mainly comes from Argentina and Hungary, which are known for their wide-open grasslands, long-held beekeeping traditions and excellent product quality. The honey we select is light in colour, aroma and has a delicate flavour. We use a drop of this honey in Kinder Milk Slice.
