Milk is one of the ingredients that makes the Kinder taste unique.
That’s why we take so much care in getting it just right.

Over the years we have developed collaborations with carefully selected milk producers around the world who respect our high-quality requirements, often more numerous and sometimes stricter than the standards. We continuously work with milk suppliers monitor our milk’s taste, quality and safety.

We use different types of dairy products across our treats:

Liquid pasteurized milk

for the fillings in our chilled products like Milk Slice or Pinguì. We can trace it back to each dairy farm to ensure it is sourced responsibly and to monitor its quality and freshness: we use it in our recipes within 48 hours from its production.

Powder milk

whole and skimmed, to make the chocolate and the fillings of most of our treats. It is obtained by removing most of the water from the liquid pasteurized milk.

Yoghurt

to make the soft sponge of Kinder Plumcake we use Greek style yoghurt, made from whole cow European milk.

Cocoa

Other dairy ingredients like milk fat to prepare our chocolates and milky fillings, whey to prepare some of our biscuits like Kinderini, milk proteins used for instance in our bakery products and Kinder Joy cream, or cream, used in our Kinder Chocolate ice cream.
